Thoroughbred Genetics Ltd was founded by Dr. Steve Harrison in 2000 off the back of family interests in thoroughbred racing and a PhD and career in genetics research. Its tests and databases are now supplied to a range of breeders and owners, both large and small and on a global basis. Thoroughbred Genetics’ objective is to help bring blacktype success to clients. Steve explains how genetic technology can be used practically to give breeders advice on their mating plans.
