Extension of collaboration with The University of Kent17 July 2019

Thoroughbred Genetics is pleased to announce a further development in its collaboration with The University of Kent.

The collaboration has already been offering cytological screening of sex-chromosomes for sub-fertile mares and in an extension of the services in the area of fertility, we are now able to provide access to assessment of stallion semen quality.

A chromosomal painting has been offered for assessment of sub-fertile mares

Using state-of-the-art flow cytometry processing, stallion reproductive performance can be optimised via nutritional support in the form of nutriceuticals (dietary supplements tailored to metabolic and physical idiosyncrasies) tailored to suit the needs of specific stallions.

A combined screening and nutraceutical approach will be provided via the service and we invite interested parties to contact us for further information.
