The success story continues for NZ classic producing broodmare.

Congratulations to Ken and Denise Williams’ Tarcoola Stud for the supply of talented progeny being produced by their black type winning mare, Vivacious Spirit.

Diamond Bliss (3yo Bay Filly D.O.B: 01-Sep-2015by SO YOU THINK (NZ) from VIVACIOUS SPIRIT) signed off on a prodcutive spring spell with a win over 1300m at Seymour for Anthony Freedman. She’s taken a while to devlop but  is now coming into her own with 2 wins and a third from 3 races. She’ll be back later in the year but is  expected to be better at 4yo.

Vivacious Spirit has had previous successes with her black type progeny, Tarcoola Spirit (Bay Mare D.O.B: 14-Aug-2014 by STRATUM  from VIVACIOUS SPIRIT) and of course, Te Akau Racing’s NZ 1,000 Guineas heroine Costa Viva (Bay Mare D.O.B: 29-Sep-2010 by ENCOSTA DE LAGO  from VIVACIOUS SPIRIT).

Costa Viva takes the NZ 1,000 gns

Vivacious Spirit provides a classic demonstration of a broodmare that is prepotent and produces very similar progeny in terms of stamina, irrespective of the sire used.
