Congratulations to Tony Evans on breeding first black type progeny from his Group 1 winning race mare Chachamaidee.

Three time winner Klassique (b f Galileo X Chachamaidee 2015) – a 300,000gns Tattersalls Book 1 graduate – is Chachamaidee’s first runner and placed 2nd in the Group 3 Prix Belle de Nuit 3yo+ Fillies and Mares 1m6f at Saint Cloud 0n 27th October. Owned by Miss Yvonne Jacques’ Carisbrooke Stud and trained by William Haggas, she’s improved with every run and looks to have much more to come next season.

It bodes well for the following Dubawi half-siblings – filly Narak (2016) in training with George Scott and a February born colt of 2018.

Returning to the Urban Sea influence, Chachamaidee is currently in foal to Sea The Stars.
