Dubawi sired his second winner of the Group 1 QIPCO 2000 Guineas when Night Of Thunder, racing in colours of Saeed Manana provided trainer Richard Hannon Jnr with his first Classic winner.
Bred by Frank Dunne and a Tattersalls graduate, he is out of the Listed Flame Of Tara Stakes-second Forest Storm (Galileo), whose dam Quiet Storm (Desert Prince) was twice Listed-placed. The fourth dam Forest Flower (Green Forest) was the Champion Two-Year-Old Filly in Europe in 1986 and subsequently won the Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas.
Night Of Thunder is the 15th individual Group 1 winner for Dubawi, also sire of Makfi, who landed this race four years ago.
